Presented by the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition and ELLE Gourmet, join us for an evening of unforgettable cuisine and sustainability stories inspired by the taste of Canada. On Saturday, May 25, indulge in a Champagne reception and tasting menu in celebration of Ocean Week Canada (June 1–9).
Known for his weekly pop-up dinner series (and soon-to-be brick-and-mortar restaurant) that celebrates the philosophy of reconnecting with the land, we are pleased to welcome Chef Zach Keeshig of Owen Sound’s Naagan to the Canoe kitchen. Specializing in unique dishes inspired by his Ojibway culture, experience Chef Zach Keeshig and Chef Ron McKinlay come together to deliver a one-night-only menu 54 floors above the city.
Enjoy exquisite cuisine and outstanding wines while meeting with and hearing from several speakers including Ocean Week Canada Ambassador Amanda Horn, Canada’s first water sommelier and hydration expert, Christina Li and Canadian cave diver, photographer and author, Jill Heinerth in the lead-up to World Ocean Day (June 8). Guests will also receive early access to a virtual screening of Jill’s latest, award-winning documentary, Diving Into Darkness.
Spotlighting local Canadian ingredients, join us for an evening of culinary excellence as we recognize the important role the ocean plays in our everyday lives and how local waterways connect us all.
