event recap: canoe wild 2019
A wild night of strapping plaid, cozy toques and a bountiful feast
A walk on the wild side
On Saturday, November 23, we gathered a diverse group of renowned Torontonian and Québécois chefs to honour wild-caught Canadian game and fish. Thoughtfully composed using home-grown ingredients — including B.C. humpback shrimp, black bear, juniper-rubbed venison, moose hearts and crayfish — the chefs’ extraordinary and unforgettable multicourse feast paved the way for an exuberant night of camaraderie that filled us with insurmountable joy and gratitude.
We’d like to extend a big thank-you to all those who joined us. All proceeds from the event went to Small Cures, a charity providing financial support to cancer patients.
