event recap: canoe wild 2018
Featuring plenty of plaid, toques, and a bounty of wild and unique Canadian ingredients.
Born to be wild
On November 24, we threw on our best plaid shirts, donned our wooly toques, and took a walk on the wild side. We teamed with a few of our favourite chefs from Toronto and Montreal to design a multi-course feast featuring a variety of wild-caught Canadian fish and game.
We’d like to extend a big thank you to everyone who joined us. All proceeds from the event went to support veterans in honour of the World War I Centennial and Remembrance Day.
Participating Chefs:
- Marc-André Royal (Le St-Urbain and La Bête à Pain)
- Rob Gentile (Buca)
- Cori Osborne (Bacchanal)
- Ron McKinlay (Canoe)
- John Horne (Canoe)
- Anthony Walsh (Oliver & Bonacini)
